CBN Clean Water Project Sponsored For PEP

Primary Education Project was privileged to be sponsored by the Christian Broadcasting Network for a Clean Water Project. The project included provision of handpumps for the 14 new PEP schools in five areas of Rural Sindh. In addition to this, CBN funded a Health Program (CLTS) for the students and communities which involved sanitation training.

While working towards the sustainability of PEP schools, we want to educate communities to create a hygienic environment so that people can live a healthy life while growing towards a great educated future. The communities during training were taught through charts, role plays, and community discussions therefore providing a vision for healthy future.

CLEAN WATER HEALTHY LIVES!

Water is a blessing. It is a symbol of life, and the communities of rural Sindh esteem such a blessing. Having no access to clean water made it difficult for these communities regulate their routine life. Having a handpump in each village has made it possible for the communities to use clean water and hence, build healthy life.
